Dr Chung graduated from the Hong Kong Baptist University with a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science and Chinese Medicine. She later obtained a Master’s degree in Family Medicine from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and a Doctorate in Medicine (Acupuncture and Tuina) from Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine.
Prior to moving to Australia, Dr Chung worked as a Senior Chinese Medicine Practitioner at the Yan Chai Hospital – Hong Kong Baptist University Chinese Medicine Clinical Centre for Teaching and Research in Hong Kong. She later served as an Assistant Professor (Clinical Division) at the School of Chinese Medicine of Hong Kong Baptist University, where she was involved in clinical teaching and supervision of students.
Since 2023, she has been providing Chinese medicine services in Australia. Dr Chung offers acupuncture and Chinese medicine consultations tailored to each individual. Her clinical work includes a range of acupuncture approaches such as general acupuncture, abdominal acupuncture, auricular therapy, fire needle, cupping and related traditional techniques. Patients commonly seek consultation for concerns such as neck, shoulder and lower back discomfort, post-herpetic or shingles-related symptoms, persistent cough, women’s cycle regulation, preparation for pregnancy, and concerns associated with menopause. Treatment plans are individualised according to each patient’s condition and needs.
